Wild Babe Bio:	Carrie Marie Underwood was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, but she was raised (with two older sisters) and grew up in the country town of Checotah,Oklahoma Carrie has a Scottish bloodline. She then went on to college and graduated (Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism) with honors (magna cum laude)in 2006. Also, make no mistake, and forget about the blonde jokes, because not only is Carrie Underwood a beautiful and successful woman, she has an intelligence level which exceeds that of most people. Beginning in the summer of 2004, her competition on the American Idol series television show began and life as she knew it would never be the same. On May 25, 2005 Carrie Underwood won the fourth season finale on the show. It was at that point (in part thanks to the exposure and popularity of the American Idol television show) that her talent was truly recognized by the masses and super-stardom officially began.
